About the club

Bridport and WDIBC moved to their new premises on the St. Andrew’s Industrial Estate in September 2005 after many happy years in the premises in North Mills.  We now have four rinks rather than two, modern changing rooms, a kitchen and bar.  The lighting with the dropped ceiling must be the best in Dorset – we certainly think so.

We are fully equipped for those less able with downstairs toilets and changing room as well as bespoke equipment to support those with disabilities.  We were fortunate to have funds donated by Bridport Round Table to buy bowls pushers especially for use by  our Acorns Group.  The access to the building is also wheelchair and motorised buggy friendly.

The Club is lucky to have its own in house coaches who run beginners and improvers courses and in house umpires.

The latest additions to the club have been an electronic scoreboard system and totaliser which is easy to use and helps spectators to keep a track on the competitions taking place, and our fantastic new LED lighting system.
