There's always plenty going on!

Within the club there are two league campaigns each year: October-March and April-September. All games are triples, three players from within a fixed team squad of five. The winter league teams are 'by arrangement' (some have been together for years!) while the summer ones are drawn by ballot. New winter teams can be formed from otherwise unattached players, and there's a list of willing substitutes all year round.

At the same time, anyone can enter any of the many internal competitions, which tend to give more opportunity for those who like to play singles and doubles games. There's silverware to be won for those who prevail.

And there are fixtures against other clubs in the area. Some are in national or county leagues; others are friendlies. The league squads are selected by appointed captains, but absolutely anyone can put their name time to play in a friendly.
